1/22/2024 0 Comments New eucerin sunscreenI will continue to have both as they serve different purposes for me, but for everyday use I choose the Pigment Control version. All in all, it's the best matte sunscreen I've tried so far, mostly because it doesn't feel like wearing a clay mask. It can be slightly drying sometimes, but I think this is my fault as I sometimes forget to moisturize at night. The finish is really lovely, it's matte but not dull, and doesn't pile. It has a very slight sting when applied to my eyes, but causes no irritation. When I wear it, I can sort of feel it there, I don't know how to describe it but I guess if you've tried other matte sunscreens you know the feeling. The Oil Control is like a light creamy gel and gets absorbed rather quickly as well, but never really goes away. It just takes a bit longer but eventually it's all absorbed and I still have the feeling of bare skin. Glycyrrhetinic Acid provides additional DNA protection. The innovative Advanced Spectral Technology combines broadband and photostable UVA and UVB filters 1 for reliable UV protection with antioxidant Licochalcone A for high-energy visible (HEVIS) light defense. One thing I also like a lot about this product is that if I know I will have direct sun exposure, I can slather a huge amount and it's still absorbed and doesn't show. Eucerin Sun products offer comprehensive protection against sun-induced skin damage. I experience that with any sunscreen containing it. The smell gave me a headache, and I had only applied it to my hands I think it might be the homosalate that triggers the facial sweating. It's not sticky and it doesn't pile nor whitecast. I think we commented about this particular sunscreen when I did a first impression of the new Vichy Shaka/Invisible fluid dupe. It has a very slight shine, but at least to me it doesn't look oily, it just looks like glowy skin. It absorbs rather quickly and around 15 minutes after application it feels like having nothing on. The Pigment Control is slightly thicker but I like the texture better. If I'm going out, I usually wear the Oil Control one, as I prioritize the matte finish for outdoors. Okay, so I have been using Eucerin advanced hydration sunscreen lotion (50 spf, there is also a 30 or 35) for a little over a week. I wear the Pigment Control daily indoors, as it's more comfortable for me for everyday use. I have combo sensitive skin, and the tone is extremely light. I have both the Pigment Control and Oil Control ones, in their SPF 50+ versions.
